New SRO OasisTerms of Service

These terms apply to the New SRO Oasis website, pre-registration and game server (together, the "Service"). By using the Service or pre-registering you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. About New SRO Oasis
New SRO Oasis is an independent, fan-run Silkroad Online private server. It is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by JOYMAX Co., Ltd. or any official Silkroad Online publisher. Pre-registering and playing are free.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EEA), or the minimum age required in your country, to use the Service. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian has agreed to these terms.
3. Pre-registration & reserved names
- Pre-registration reserves your chosen username for the launch of the server. Details you provide must be accurate and your own.
- One person may hold a reasonable number of pre-registrations. Mass, automated or fake sign-ups are not allowed and will be removed.
- We may refuse or remove names that are offensive, impersonate staff or other people, infringe someone's rights, or advertise other servers or services.
- Your pre-registration becomes your game account at launch. We may ask you to confirm your email address before activation.
4. Your account
- Keep your password secret and use a password you do not use anywhere else.
- You are responsible for everything that happens on your account. Tell us immediately if you think it has been compromised.
- Accounts are personal. Selling, trading or sharing accounts is not allowed.
- Staff will never ask for your password.
5. Player conduct
When using the Service (including our Discord and social media) you agree not to:
- use cheats, bots, hacks, exploits, packet editors or any unauthorised third-party software;
- abuse bugs; report them to staff instead;
- harass, threaten, or discriminate against other players or staff, or post hateful, sexual or illegal content;
- scam other players or engage in real-money trading of in-game items, gold or accounts;
- attack, overload or try to gain unauthorised access to our servers, website or database;
- impersonate staff or other players, or advertise other servers.

6. Launch dates & availability
Announced dates (such as the Open Beta and Grand Opening) are our current plans and may change. We do not guarantee that the Service will launch on a specific date, be available at all times, or be free of errors. Beta phases are for testing: progress made during a beta may be reset.
7. Virtual items
Characters, items, gold and other in-game content have no real-world monetary value, are not your property, and may be changed, balanced or removed as part of running the game.
8. Intellectual property
Silkroad Online and its related names, characters and artwork are trademarks and property of JOYMAX Co., Ltd. The New SRO Oasis name, logo, website design and original content belong to the New SRO Oasis team. You may share our official links and media to promote the server, but you may not copy the website or present it as your own.
If you believe content on our website infringes your rights, contact us (see section 12) and we will review it promptly.
9. No warranty
The Service is provided free of charge, "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, the New SRO Oasis team is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, loss of data, loss of in-game progress or items, or damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Suspension & termination
We may warn, mute, suspend or permanently ban accounts or pre-registrations that break these terms or the in-game rules. You may stop using the Service at any time and ask us to delete your data as described in our Privacy Policy.
12. Changes & contact
We may update these terms, for example when the game launches. The "Last updated" date shows the current version. If you keep using the Service after a change, you accept the new terms. Questions? Contact us on our Discord server or Facebook page.
